Vision (Canada) - - ACTUALITÉS - NEWS -

Prescott-Russell ambulances will continue to respond as usual for now to emergency dispatch calls for cases in neighbouring Ottawa. The United Counties of Prescott-Russell council (UCPR) has approved a recommendation from Emergency Services Director Michel Chrétien to delay plans for a policy change in the protocol concerning service calls from outside of the Prescott-Russell region. The delay is in response to a request from officials with the new Progressive Conservative government who indicated they want to review the situation between Prescott-Russell and Ottawa. — Gregg Chamberlain
