Police arrest four suspects, seize drugs after home invasion
Police nabbed suspects in a Kitchener home invasion after officers tracked down a suspect vehicle seen leaving the area. Waterloo Regional Police officers responded to a residence on Thursday after reports of a home invasion. The suspect vehicle was stopped and four people face charges as a result. A 20-year-old Dartmouth, N.S. woman, 32-year-old Toronto man, 31-year-old Cambridge man and 22-year-old Cambridge man now face several charges including robbery, possession for the purpose of trafficking, possession of stolen property and possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose. Police say 16 kilograms of marijuana and 200 oxycodone pills with a street value of $87,000 were also seized during the arrest as well as an imitation firearm and some stolen property.
