Po­lice ar­rest four sus­pects, seize drugs af­ter home in­va­sion

Po­lice nabbed sus­pects in a Kitch­ener home in­va­sion af­ter of­fi­cers tracked down a sus­pect ve­hi­cle seen leav­ing the area. Water­loo Re­gional Po­lice of­fi­cers re­sponded to a res­i­dence on Thurs­day af­ter re­ports of a home in­va­sion. The sus­pect ve­hi­cle was stopped and four peo­ple face charges as a re­sult. A 20-year-old Dart­mouth, N.S. woman, 32-year-old Toronto man, 31-year-old Cam­bridge man and 22-year-old Cam­bridge man now face sev­eral charges in­clud­ing rob­bery, pos­ses­sion for the pur­pose of traf­fick­ing, pos­ses­sion of stolen prop­erty and pos­ses­sion of a weapon for a dan­ger­ous pur­pose. Po­lice say 16 kilo­grams of mar­i­juana and 200 oxy­codone pills with a street value of $87,000 were also seized dur­ing the ar­rest as well as an im­i­ta­tion firearm and some stolen prop­erty.
