Three youths ar­rested af­ter knife­point rob­bery

Three youths have been charged in a knife­point rob­bery in Kitch­ener. On Wed­nes­day at 8:20 p.m., a young person was robbed at knife­point by three young men in the area of Glas­gow Street and Ira Nee­dles Boule­vard, said Water­loo Re­gional Po­lice. The three youths fled on foot and boarded a Grand River Tran­sit bus at The Board­walk. Shortly af­ter, they were lo­cated and ar­rested by po­lice on a bus in the area of Queens Boule­vard and Elm Ridge Drive at 8:50 p.m. The three are each fac­ing a charge of rob­bery with a weapon. Two have also been charged with breach of pro­ba­tion, failure to com­ply with un­der­tak­ing and drug-re­lated charges.
