Re­mem­brance Day ser­vices in Water­loo Re­gion

• Water­loo’s Re­mem­brance Day cer­e­mony starts on Sun­day at 10:30 a.m. at the Water­loo ceno­taph be­hind city hall on Regina and Wil­liams streets. The pa­rade will form up at 10 a.m. on Bridge­port Road East and Regina Street North.

The Water­loo Bells of Peace cer­e­mony will start at 4:45 p.m. at the ceno­taph with bells be­gin­ning to ring at 5:01 p.m.

It’s also the 100th an­niver­sary of the end of the First World War.

• Kitch­ener’s Re­mem­brance Day cer­e­mony is on Sun­day at the ceno­taph on the cor­ner of Duke and Fred­er­ick streets at 10:45 a.m. The pa­rade will form up at 10:15 a.m. on On­tario Street be­tween King and Duke streets.

• Pre­ston’s ser­vice is on Sun­day at 10:30 a.m. at the ceno­taph on 615 King St. E. The pa­rade will form up at 10:15 a.m. at the le­gion on 334 West­min­ster Dr. N.

• Galt’s cer­e­mony is on Sun­day at 10:15 a.m. at the ceno­taph on 82 Ainslie St. The pa­rade will form up at 9:30 a.m. at the le­gion on 4 Vet­er­ans Way at 10:15 a.m.

• He­speler’s cer­e­mony is on Sun­day at 10:30 a.m. at the ceno­taph on the cor­ner of Queen and Tan­nery. The pa­rade will form up at 10:15 a.m. at the le­gion on 26 Schofield St.

• The New Dundee cer­e­mony is at 10:30 a.m. on Satur­day at the New Dundee School on 1430 Bridge St.

• The New Ham­burg cer­e­mony is at 11 a.m. on Sun­day at the New Ham­burg Arena and Com­mu­nity Cen­tre on 251 Ja­cob St.
