Wedding Bells (West) - - Real Weddings -

FROM ERIN: Adam proposed after five years of dating. I’m an avid reader, so he popped the question at our favourite local bookstore. It was so romantic! We planned a romantic winter getaway for our wedding. All the guests and family members gathered at the Fairmont Chateau Lake Louise for a weekend full of winter wonderland activities like hockey on the frozen lake, horse- drawn sleigh rides and sipping hot chocolate by the fire. The party continued after hours in the Glacier Saloon, where we served our midnight snack of poutine and sliders, and danced until the early hours of the morning. We were thrilled with the way the reception decor came together. The long wooden tables looked so romantic with gold accents in the table numbers, candles and charger plates. The floral runners were also gorgeous. Instead of a cake, we served freshly baked pies at the reception. It was one of my favourite details of the day, and everyone said they tasted delicious. The pie bar nicely illustrated our warm, intimate theme.
