FROM STEPHANIE: Our theme for our wedding was “Love will make you blush.” We wanted it to be romantic, classic and elegant, with blush and gold details. It all started with my blush-coloured wedding dress. From the personalized stationery to the blush sequined table linens, we incorporated the colour throughout the decor. Our ceremony site at Cedar Creek Estate Winery was a feast for the eyes. Rose gardens, grapevines, mountains and the lake surrounded us; it was the perfect venue to declare our love. We had many details that were very personal to us. Photos of loved ones who had passed away were placed on a vintage dresser at the front of the aisle to reflect their presence. A single red carnation was placed on a chair to represent the spiritual presence of my mom, who we lost five years ago. Craig and I shared our first dance to “Joy of My Life” by John Fogerty. My mom always used to say to my sister and I that we were the “joy of her life.” When Craig first played the song for me and told me it was his favourite, I felt it was a sign from my mom telling me that Craig was the one for me. It was an emotional first dance for us both.

WE INCORPORATED BLUSH THROUGHOUT THE DECOR.
