FROM LINDSAY: We spend every Christmas in Lac des Arcs, Alberta, with my family, so Cameron thought it would be the perfect place to pop the question. After talking with my family about proposing, Cam hid the ring in a tree ornament on Christmas Eve. Once all the presents had been opened on Christmas morning, Cam announced there was one more gift for me to open, got down on one knee and asked in front of my whole family. We’ve always thought of our love as a fairy tale, so we incorporated special details into the decor to symbolize that. The wedding cake had a glass slipper on it, and between us at the head table was a twinkling glass vase holding a turquoise rose. Getting creative in the Dreger family workshop allowed us to personalize and bring our vision to life. All the time we spent building and painting the frames, centrepieces, candleholders, signage and more was really special, and made the process leading up to the wedding so much fun. I loved all the sentimental touches at the wedding. I wore my grandmother’s wedding dress, our cousin officiated the ceremony, and our family dog, Pebbles, walked down the aisle with the bridal party.

I LOVED ALL THE SENTIMENTAL TOUCHES AT THE WEDDING.
