FROM CHANTALLE: He swiped right, and I swiped right, and it was a perfect match. We ended up chatting back and forth on the dating app Tinder for about a month—it was like having a pen pal. He would send me long and thoughtful messages about his life, and his passion for his work and travel. We realized how much we had in common. The day we finally met, it was like we’d come home. Our wedding theme was a romantic garden party with a sage-green, dustyrose, cream and gold palette. We adore nature, and I loved the idea of simple, rustic elegance with a bit of gold shimmer, so we used those elements as inspiration for the decor. The end result was exactly what I wanted but had never been able to put into words. My dress was perfect. I first saw it in a magazine, and I finally tracked it down by sheer luck at a bridal salon. I put it on and immediately loved it. The ceremony was so special. Jesse’s uncle became an officiant so he could marry us, and we wrote our own vows. Walking down the aisle to Jesse and seeing his overjoyed face will be a memory I’ll cherish forever. There was just so much happiness and love in the air!
