Weddingbells (Toronto) - - REAL WEDDINGS -

FROM HAYDEE: We were a couple for 10 years and were so excited to finally get married! Seeing each other for the first time at the altar during the ceremony was amazing. The final moment before becoming husband and wife felt surreal and emotional. The wedding flowers were incredible. Our venue was the Fermenting Cellar and the florist, Flower 597, went above and beyond to transform the space into our wedding vision. My bouquet and the centrepieces incorporated all of my favourite flowers: Coral Charm peonies, garden roses and ranunculus. The palette we selected was blush, peach, fuchsia and gold, which is elegant and modern. We also chose to have tons of candlelight and the glow made the flowers look even more beautiful. We created a fun kissing game with the guests. We asked couples to demonstrate a famous kiss, which we would then re- enact. One couple requested the famous “I’m flying” scene from Titanic. That was definitely the funniest moment of the night. For the first dance together, we picked a classic tune from Coldplay. “Yellow” is a song that has special memories for us. We had a string of lights hung over the dance floor to give the moment a dancing- under-the-stars ambience.
