CHERYL STAGER and IAN SEENEY
DECEMBER 11, 2016
FROM CHERYL: I love winter so my first thought was to have a winter wedding. We chose Langdon Hall for its perfect, secluded location. I wanted snow, but also safe weather for guests to make it to the wedding. Everyone had arrived safe and sound and then it started snowing—so dreamy! The party was intimate with just immediate families and close friends. We had 21 guests—it was amazing. Walking down the aisle with my dad, I saw every single person and spent time with everyone. I will never forget the feeling of joy on that day. My wedding flowers were everything! I love flowers and wanted to bring in as many as I could. Elaine and her team at From The Potting Shed brought my vision to life. There were chair swags, an 18-foot garland down the centre of our table, seasonal bouquets, flower favours and rose petals lining the aisle. We also had spruce boughs, pine cones and acorns to complement the location’s verdant backdrop. I had tears in my eyes when I saw everything. My mom and I made the wedding cake incorporating natural details. We created handmade sugar flowers, berries and other elements. I was thrilled with the results.
WE CHOSE LANGDON HALL FOR ITS PERFECT, SECLUDED LOCATION.
