FROM JULIA: Our wedding theme was

playful and eclectic. We used shades of yellow, green, gold, and white accents. I also didn’t want to choose between flowers and balloons, so I did what any self-respecting maximalist does and chose both. I think it really added something whimsical to the space. My dress was the only one I tried on and the first thing I purchased for our wedding. I never wanted a traditional wedding dress, but when I saw this one it was perfect. Stars are my favourite shape and pattern and I adored the sparkle from the gold and silver sequins. The dress was different, rare and so special— something I hadn’t seen worn before. Our good friends, Maik and Pamela, are

“Porsche people.” So we called and asked if we could take some photos with their vintage rides and arrive at the venue in “his and hers” Porsches. It was nice to have this time together to laugh, chat, pose and live our best lives in these fancy and sexy cars! As a fashion and beauty editor, fragrance is something extremely

important to me. It’s a major trigger for memory, so naturally, I wanted to create a scent for our wedding day. Tom and I wore Jo Malone colognes, and our venue had a scent as well, which was a blend of Jo Malone’s Blackberry-and-Bay and English Pear-and-Freesia candles. The smell was amazing and our guests were gushing about the intoxicating yet delicate aroma. Whenever we light the two candles, it brings us right back to our special day.
