Van­cou­ver, BC: The 36th an­nual fes­ti­val takes place May 27th to June 2nd, 2013 on Granville Is­land.

A world-renowned fes­ti­val of per­form­ing arts for young au­di­ences, the Van­cou­ver In­ter­na­tional Chil­dren’s Fes­ti­val has been ed­u­cat­ing, en­ter­tain­ing and in­spir­ing young au­di­ences since 1978.

Come for a show, but stay for the whole day! Your show ticket in­cludes ac­cess to all 3 Ac­tiv­ity Zones! The 2013 Fes­ti­val high­lights mag­i­cal, mar­velous per­for­mances from artists far and wide. From lo­cal favourites to rate and ex­otic finds, th­ese cap­ti­vat­ing per­form­ers will put a smile on your child’s face and hope­fully even make you hoot with laugh­ter.

The Goethe-In­sti­tute Toronto pro­vided the fund­ing in sup­port of the pre­sen­ta­tion of “The Queen of Colours” at the In­ter­na­tional Chil­dren’s Fes­ti­val. The show will be per­formed by pup­peteers Eva Noell and Paul Ol­brich who are founders of the Er­freuliches The­ater Er­furt.
