They claim to teach German through “music and soccer.” Just love this idea.
Another cool thing they organize is an annual video contest. Each year, the topic changes, but the Grand Prize remains the same: a 3-week language class at a Goethe-Institute in Germany with airfare included!
Frau Kemmling Schoolhaus Brewhaus in Oregon, offers a Maifest to celebrate the first Sunday of May. This celebration is of renewed life and the promise of spring and takes place in Jacksonville, Oregon.
Camp Abenteuer, which takes place at the Menucha Retreat and Conference Center, will take place Sunday, July 21st, through Friday, July 26th, 2013. The theme is Grimm’s Fairy Tales and information can be found here: http://www.germansummercamp.org/ This is for Grades 2 to 12, and it is run by the Sophia Scholl Schule under the umbrella of Zeitgeist NorthWest.
