When tasked with com­ing up with a fresh menu for the ul­ti­mate hol­i­day din­ner party, we’re all about mak­ing new tra­di­tions. That means up­dat­ing the clas­sics (cran­berry chut­ney, any­one?), cre­at­ing un­ex­pected flavour pair­ings (pineap­ple and blue cheese, li­corice and sal­mon, choco­late and parme­san cheese) and pulling out a show­stop­per main (one that’s not—gasp!— turkey). The re­sult? A very modern hol­i­day feast that gives you just one more rea­son for fam­ily and friends to come to­gether for some­thing spe­cial.
