THE HAN­GAR FLIGHT MU­SEUM This avi­a­tion mu­seum fea­tures a va­ri­ety of air­craft and his­tor­i­cal aero­nau­ti­cal ar­ti­facts. Ex­hibits cover avi­a­tion’s pi­o­neer era as well as both world wars and the space age. Open 10 am - 4 pm daily. CANADA’S SPORTS HALL OF FAME Lo­cated at WinS­port, this mu­seum show­cases the sto­ries and mem­o­ra­bilia of Canada’s sport­ing le­gends. In­ter­ac­tive ex­hibits in­clude shadow box­ing with Lennox Lewis, 3D hockey, row­ing, wheel­chair rac­ing, and more. GLEN­BOW West­ern Canada’s largest mu­seum, with 20 gal­leries. There are per­ma­nent exhibitions on west­ern North Amer­i­can art, sculp­tures from Asia, the his­tory of South­ern Alberta, the his­tory of the Black­foot peo­ple, indige­nous cul­tures, min­er­al­ogy, West African achieve­ment and war­riors. LOUGHEED HOUSE This historic, 125-year-old man­sion houses a gallery that sup­ports art and artists as the Lougheed fam­ily once did. Self-guided and com­pli­men­tary au­dio tours of the home and its historic ar­ti­facts are avail­able. En­joy lunch in the restau­rant, and an out­door stroll in the land­scaped gar­dens. Ad­mis­sion is not re­quired to visit the restau­rant or the gar­dens, but if you dine in the restau­rant your ad­mis­sion to the rest of the house is only $4.
