EDITOR’S NOTE

Where Ottawa - - Contents -

Summer is over. But there’s no need to mourn — Ottawa is spectacular in the fall, when the green leaves turn to fiery shades of red, orange, and yellow.

To help you make the most of it, we’ve come up with a few autumnal outings in and around the city (p. 14). Whether you lace up for the trails in glorious Gatineau Park or test your nerves with ghostly tales on the Haunted Walk of Ottawa, there’s something to appeal to everyone.

Indoors, the arts will keep you entertained. Catch Opera Lyra’s

Barber of Seville at the National Arts Centre (p. 12), off-thewall cellist Matt Haimovitz at Wakefield’s Black Sheep Inn (p. 10), and the classic comedic play Blithe Spirit at the Ottawa Little Theatre (p. 11).

As always, if you’re looking to ask us a question or pass along a recommendation, let us know on Twitter @whereottawa. Enjoy your stay! AMY ALLEN, Editor Follow us on Twitter @whereottawa
