For peo­ple who like… Can­con: is multi-dis­ci­plinary fes­ti­val in Me­chan­icsville’s Laroche Park of­fers a hy­per­local lineup.

In­sider’s Scoop – Elaina Martin, Founder & Pro­ducer: “Our in­clu­sive and di­verse pro­gram­ming is a high­light this year, from spo­ken word to drag queens, to gospel choirs on our main stage, to our new In­dige­nous Pav­il­ion we’re build­ing this year with tra­di­tional In­dige­nous ar­ti­sans, busi­nesses and food ven­dors – a true cul­tural ex­trav­a­ganza for all.”

Can’t Miss: e ar­ti­san and busi­ness zone, full of lo­cal shops from the neigh­bour­hood and nearby Westboro. On Stage: Shake to the world beats of the Soul­jazz Orches­tra ( June 4) or be moved by lo­cal singer-song­writer Tara Hol­loway ( June 5).

For the Kids: An ex­tended kid zone with pup­pet shows, ma­gi­cians, sto­ry­tellers and mu­si­cal shows; Westfest Fam Jam ( June 3).
