“The Crystal” marks the spot for Canada’s largest museum, the Royal Ontario Museum, which has a collection of more than 12 million objects and specimens with galleries focused on textiles, costumes, dinosaurs, geology, and even a bat cave. Additional galleries curate artifacts from Egypt, Korea, Japan, the Middle East, and China—including the largest assemblage of Chinese architectural pieces outside of the country itself. The Michael Lee-Chin Crystal, which looms over the intersection of Bloor Street West and Queens Park, was designed by Daniel Libeskind and is comprised of five prismatic structures. 100 Queens Park, rom.on.ca
