Mo­tor­cy­cle driver killed in High­way 6 crash

A mo­tor­cy­cle driver died at the scene of a col­li­sion on High­way 6 in North­ern Bruce Penin­sula Tues­day night.

Bruce Penin­sula OPP re­ceived a re­port at 7:55 p.m. of a se­ri­ous col­li­sion on High­way 6, be­tween Bar­row Bay Road and Ceme­tery Road. Po­lice ar­rived to find a sil­ver Pon­tiac G6 and a black mo­tor­cy­cle had crashed.

The G6 driver was as­sessed by paramedics at the scene.

Po­lice ini­tially with­held the mo­tor­cy­clist’s name pend­ing no­ti­fi­ca­tion of next of kin. On Thurs­day, the vic­tim was iden­ti­fied by po­lice as Ed­ward (Chad) Hon­ney­man, 38, of Wiarton.

Bruce Penin­sula OPP is con­tin­u­ing to in­ves­ti­gate.
