The Sauble Sunset Cruisers presented a$1,000 to the Sauble Chamber of Commerce for the kids programs at the beach, in Sauble Beach, Aug. 29.

Lloyd Sheridan, of the Sauble Sunset Cruisers, said, “building memories at Sauble and having families return to Sauble is an important part of our Tuesday cruise nights and our Sandfest Classic Car Show.” This year’s Sandfest show featured 169 classics, antiques, trucks and hot rods lining the beach just north of the Crowd Inn.

The morning was wet but by late morning the sun came out and a great day was enjoyed by hundreds of spectators and drivers.

Together with our partners, the Sauble Sandpipers 50-50 and the Salvation Army barbecue the show generated over $3,600 for local community projects and charities.
