Dancing for charity

Wiarton Echo - - PAST AND PRESENT -

Were you one of the attendees that donned their poodle skirt or faded blue jeans and white T-shirt and saddle shoes to enjoy the Sauble Sunset Cruisers 8th annual 50’s Hop? If you are, because of your participation and the generous donation of the Cruisers, Bruce Peninsula Health Services Foundation, one of the designated charities, received $400 to assist with the purchase of medical equipment for the Peninsula. This year’s donation will be applied toward patient ceiling lifts at the Wiarton hospital.

Lloyd and Jo-Ann Sheridan, a couple of the organizers of the event, presented Bev Boswell, executive director of the Foundation, with the cheque on Nov. 8.
