Drug charges after search executed at NBP property
Two men face drug possession charges after a search warrant was executed in Northern Bruce Peninsula on Friday, May 4.
Members of the Bruce Peninsula Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) and OPP Community Street Crime Units, with the assistance of the West Region Emergency Response Team, searched a property on Myles Bay Shore Road, a news release issued by Bruce Peninsula OPP said.
As a result, methamphetamine and cannabis marijuana with a combined estimated value of $5,660 were seized.
The accused men, both 31 years old, and both of the Municipality of Northern Bruce Peninsula, were charged with possession of methamphetamine.
One of the accused also faces charges of possession of cannabis marijuana and failure to comply with recognizance.
Both men were released and are scheduled to attend court in Owen Sound on June 7.
