Chrysler plant staff donate toys

Windsor Star - - CITY+REGION -

Employees at the Windsor Assembly Plant on Wednesday filled eight Chrysler Pacifica minivans with toys — valued at more than $25,000 — that will be donated to Sparky’s Toy Drive. It was the 15th year workers at the plant have contributed to the toy drive that annually distributes toys to about 3,200 children in the Windsor area. The drive is organized by Windsor Fire and Rescue Services. “FCA Windsor Assembly employees have been an integral part of Sparky’s Toy Drive success over the years,” said Sean Costello, Sparky’s Toy Drive coordinator. “They are consistently our largest contributor and their donations prove year after year that this program could not exist without them.” Donations can be dropped off for the toy drive at any Windsor fire station until Dec. 23.
