WSO presents Han­del’s Mes­siah

A lo­cal Christmas tra­di­tion con­tin­ues this week­end: Con­certs of Han­del’s Mes­siah by the Wind­sor Sym­phony Or­ches­tra and the WSO Cho­rus. Ge­orge Frid­eric Han­del’s mas­ter­ful 1741 or­a­to­rio — in­clud­ing the fa­mous “Hallelujah” cho­rus — will be per­formed in Leam­ing­ton on Satur­day and in Te­cum­seh on Sun­day. This year’s con­certs will be joined by vo­cal soloists Chelsea Van Pelt (so­prano), Mea­gan Lar­ios (alto), Karim Su­lay­man (tenor), and Clarence Frazer (bass). Satur­day’s con­cert is at Leam­ing­ton United Men­non­ite Church (78 Oak St. E.), at 7:30 p.m. Sun­day’s con­cert is at St. Anne’s Church (12233 Te­cum­seh Rd. E.), at 7:30 p.m. Tick­ets are limited. Prices are $35 for adults, $30 for se­niors, $15 for stu­dents, $14 for youths.
