Blenheim men charged in robbery
Two Blenheim men face multiple charges after a reported robbery at a Talbot Street West apartment. On Wednesday at 3:10 a.m., two men wearing masks allegedly forced their way into the victim’s unit, Chatham-Kent police said. The victim confronted the men and a fight ensued. When the victim began defending himself, the men fled the area. The victim suffered unspecified injuries and was transported to Chatham-Kent Health Alliance for treatment, police said. The two men were known to the victim and were located within six hours. A 22-year-old man was charged with break and enter, wearing a disguise with intent, aggravated assault, robbery, and possession of a prohibited weapon. An 18-year-old man was charged with break and enter, wearing a disguise with intent, aggravated assault, and robbery.
