RUPAUL GETS A CHIA PET EDITION

Ooh, do we have some tea to spill! Rupaul is serving home gardening realness with a limited-edition Chia Pet, just in time for the holidays. The Emmy-winning host of Rupaul's Drag Race announced the news on Twitter.

The Rupaul Chia Pet works just like other versions. Spread the enclosed chia seeds on the hair of the terracotta planter, water them regularly and the sprouts will be at full growth within a couple of weeks.

The end result is a giant green Afro.

“(It's) the perfect metaphor for life,” Rupaul told TMZ about the new product. “To grow you must tend to your garden and love yourself.”

The Rupaul Chia Pets follow other recent pop-culture-inspired Chia Pets, such as Bob Ross, Baby Yoda and Groot. They'll ship beginning in December and are US$24.99 at lootcrate.com.
