Ju­das Priest, Slip­knot fans have another thing com­ing

WIN­NIPEG me­tal fans will have two con­certs to look for­ward to this fall.

On Oct. 14, mask-wear­ing Iowa out­fit Slip­knot will play the MTS Cen­tre along with cross­over pioneers Sui­ci­dal Ten­den­cies and met­al­core band Beartooth.

Tick­ets go on sale Thurs­day for $38.50 to $90.25 at Tick­et­mas­ter. The video for Slip­knot’s latest sin­gle, Killpop, has amassed more than sev­en­mil­lion views on YouTube and their 2014 al­bum 5: The Gray Chap­ter earned the band its eighth Grammy nom­i­na­tion.

On Nov. 1, it will be Ju­das Priest’s turn to crank up the vol­ume as they take the MTS Cen­tre stage.

Tick­ets for the show go on sale Aug. 7 for $39.50 to $82 at Tick­et­mas­ter.

The vet­eran Bri­tish group, fronted by singer Rob Hal­ford, formed in the early 1970s and earned a huge global fol­low­ing in the 1980s with songs such as Break­ing the Law, Liv­ing Af­ter Mid­night and You’ve Got Another Thing Comin’. They are tour­ing in sup­port of their latest al­bum, Redeemer of Souls.
