Judas Priest, Slipknot fans have another thing coming
WINNIPEG metal fans will have two concerts to look forward to this fall.
On Oct. 14, mask-wearing Iowa outfit Slipknot will play the MTS Centre along with crossover pioneers Suicidal Tendencies and metalcore band Beartooth.
Tickets go on sale Thursday for $38.50 to $90.25 at Ticketmaster. The video for Slipknot’s latest single, Killpop, has amassed more than sevenmillion views on YouTube and their 2014 album 5: The Gray Chapter earned the band its eighth Grammy nomination.
On Nov. 1, it will be Judas Priest’s turn to crank up the volume as they take the MTS Centre stage.
Tickets for the show go on sale Aug. 7 for $39.50 to $82 at Ticketmaster.
The veteran British group, fronted by singer Rob Halford, formed in the early 1970s and earned a huge global following in the 1980s with songs such as Breaking the Law, Living After Midnight and You’ve Got Another Thing Comin’. They are touring in support of their latest album, Redeemer of Souls.
