It was really ap­pre­ci­ated be­cause it was a long day, and we had to do all the count­ing af­ter the polls closed. Their par­ents would be as proud as I am.

Stranger steps up with tran­sit tips

NOT be­ing fa­mil­iar with the bus sched­ule, I de­cided to take the bus to the first an­nual Win­nipeg Pet Show on Satur­day, Oct. 24, go­ing from south St. Vi­tal to the con­ven­tion cen­tre. No prob­lem.

Go­ing home was a lit­tle dif­fer­ent. I owe thanks to a very help­ful man in a brown plaid jacket, who sug­gested I board the bus he was also board­ing, then pro­ceeded to sug­gest I trans­fer to a sec­ond bus that would take me home.

I would like to thank this very help­ful man for help­ing me get home safely.

Help with fa­ther’s fall greatly ap­pre­ci­ated
