MOON ALERT We have the all clear to do business. The moon is in Capricorn.

ARIES (March 21-April 19) You are high viz. and looking good. If you need a financial favour from someone, ask for it. (Especially if this person is a boss, parent or someone in authority.) Hidden romance, sly flirtations and secrets might figure.

TAURUS (April 20-May 20) This is the perfect day to make travel plans with someone. You feel imaginative and have a yearning to escape and see exotic places. You love vacations with good food and drink. In fact, you love to take cruises. Need I say more?

GEMINI (May 21-June 20) This is a good day to ask for a favour. It’s also a good day to negotiate anything that requires sharing because you will come out smelling like a rose. This will apply to your work and your relations with parents and authority figures.

CANCER (June 21-July 22) Be prepared to go more than halfway when dealing with others because the moon is opposite your sign. This is no biggie. It just means you need to be accommodating, tolerant and co-operative. It’s a great day to shmooze.

LEO (July 23-Aug. 22) Relations with co-workers will go well. Likewise, your dealings with family members will be mutually sympathetic. Someone might be concerned or supportive to you regarding your health. This is also a lovely day to entertain at home, and make your home look more beautiful.

VIRGO (Aug. 23-Sept. 22) This is a great date night. Enjoy shmoozing with others. Vacations, social diversions, the theatre and the arts will all appeal. You will also enjoy playful activities with children. This is also a creative day, especially for those of you who write or work with words.

LIBRA (Sept. 23-Oct. 22) Business and commerce are favoured. However, if you are personally spending money, you will enjoy buying something beautiful for your home. Conversely, this is a good day to earn money as well. Be helpful to others because this will promote your finances.

SCORPIO (Oct. 23-Nov. 21) Your imagination is strong, which is why this is great day for those of you involved in creative activities or the arts. In addition, emotionally speaking, you will be sympathetic to others, especially siblings and neighbours. Romance will be sweet and breathtaking.

SAGITTARIUS (Nov. 22-Dec. 21) On the whole, this is a good day for business and commerce, shopping and making money. However, guard against wishful thinking or spending too much on a luxury. Neptune is in the picture, and Neptune makes us have starry eyes and want to be a movie star, dress like a movie star and drive their cars. Sigh.

CAPRICORN (Dec. 22-Jan. 19) This is a lovely day because the moon is in your sign dancing nicely with Venus and Neptune. This makes you charming and diplomatic with everyone. It also makes you appreciate yourself, which is a good thing. That’s why this is an excellent day to buy wardrobe goodies.

AQUARIUS (Jan. 20-Feb. 18) Solitude in beautiful surroundings will please you. Lately, you’ve been out there flying your colours, talking to everyone and socializing with others, but even you need a break because no one can be all things to all people all the time. Seek out solitude.

PISCES (Feb. 19-March 20) Enjoy the company of others, especially those people you are especially fond of. Someone from afar or another culture might contact you. You might also want to confide in a female companion, especially with details about your hopes and dreams for the future.

Actress Jennifer Connelly (1970) shares your birthday. You know how to put on a show because you are physically expressive. In your own way, you influence others with your poise and self-confidence. This year you have something important to learn. It might not be apparent in the first half of the year, but soon, your efforts of the past six years will manifest results. Enjoy the outdoors more.
