MOON ALERT Until 5 p.m., we have the all clear to do business. The moon is in Capricorn.

ARIES (March 21-April 19) Be careful. Tread carefully. Upsets with parents, bosses and authority figures, as well as partners and close friends, could be unpleasant. Whatever happens will happen instantly, when you least expect it. This is also an accident-prone day.

TAURUS (April 20-May 20) Your work routine will be interrupted for some reason. This could be due to computer crashes, staff shortages or power outages. Something related to another country (perhaps a failed delivery of important equipment or goods) might also cause distress.

GEMINI (May 21-June 20) Parents should be vigilant because this is an accident-prone day for your kids. Make sure you know where they are. Remove them from hazardous situations. Be cautious about trusting them to the care of others.

CANCER (June 21-July 22) Domestic squabbles will likely take place, perhaps because small appliances break down or minor breakages occur. Something untoward will cause chaos and a big increase in activity where you live. Naturally, patience is your most important ally at this time.

LEO (July 23-Aug. 22) Be patient with others because it’s easy to lose your cool when dealing with others, especially siblings and relatives. Also be aware that this is an extremely accident-prone day. Therefore, pay attention to what you say and do. Think before you speak and be constantly aware and mindful.

VIRGO (Aug. 23-Sept. 22) Keep an eye on your money and your possessions because something untoward might happen. You might find money, or you might lose money. Something you own might be lost or stolen. Breakage is also likely. In other words, keep your eyes open.

LIBRA (Sept. 23-Oct. 22) Arguments between family members and partners might occur because everyone is on tenterhooks and feeling impatient. This makes people impulsive and rash, and in turn, rash actions can fuel any potentially negative situation.

SCORPIO (Oct. 23-Nov. 21) This is an accident-prone day for you. Naturally, an accident does not have to occur, but the odds are high. Therefore, pay attention to everything you say and do. Expect your daily routine to change. Allow extra time so you have wiggle room to cope with the unexpected. Expect detours and delays.

SAGITTARIUS (Nov. 22-Dec. 21) Guard your money and your assets because something unpredictable might occur that impacts your wealth. You might find money, or you might lose money. Something you own might be lost or stolen. Just be vigilant and careful about everything.

CAPRICORN (Dec. 22-Jan. 19) People will be quarrelsome. In part, this could be because someone (and this person could be you) might be obsessed with something unconventional or unusual. People are feisty, independent and frankly, pigheaded; therefore, be cautious in how you relate to others. Be smart.

AQUARIUS (Jan. 20-Feb. 18) This is an accident-prone day so be careful. Something out of the blue or hidden from behind the scenes might blow your routine out of the water. It could be minor, or it could be major. Naturally, if you are observant, mindful and sensible, things will be fine. Avoid arguments with others because they benefit no one, especially you.

PISCES (Feb. 19-March 20) Guard your possessions. Keep an eye on anything you own, including your money. Make friends with your bank account. A female friend might say something that makes you doubt your financial security. Just take it easy. In discussions with others, especially female friends, be patient and understanding. Someone might need your help.

Actor Christopher Plummer (1929) shares your birthday. You are careful, thoughtful and attentive to whatever you do. You overlook nothing. Your goals are long-range and in the future. Great news! This is perhaps one of the most powerful years of your life, a time of accumulation. The seeds you have planted in the past will now ripen because it’s a time of fruition.
