Concern was very much appreciated
ON May 1, I was walking along Navy Way, having attended the Battle of the Atlantic service at HMCS Chippawa.
I was having trouble walking when a gentleman came up behind me and asked if I was all right. I assured him I was, and when he asked where I was headed. I said, “the parking lot.”
He stayed with me until I got into my car. He then got into his car, which was close by.
It was hot, so I decided to get out and take my jacket off. Just as I was getting back in, a friend came by, and we started talking. The gentleman in the other car realized I had a friend with me, so he drove away.
To the gentleman who walked with me: thank you, sir, for your concern; it was much appreciated.
