‘Awesome, selfless people’ help cyclist

Winnipeg Free Press - Section G - - THE SOCIAL PAGE -

I don’t know their names, but I would like to sincerely thank the four people who pulled over to help me when I crashed my bike and broke my wrist recently.

With so many driving past, you pulled over, helped me lock up and got me to the hospital. I am so grateful to you

You made a bad situation so much less stressful. My unbroken hand has major birth defects, making even pulling my phone out of my pocket impossible. I was hurt, stuck and scared.

I don’t know if I’ll meet you all again, but I’ll always remember how you calmed me down, got me where I needed to go, even made me laugh. You helped me in every way you could, and I would love the opportunity to thank you again in person, but if that’s not possible Winnipeggers should know there are awesome selfless people out there willing to help wherever needed.

Thank you, again and again,
