Valiant act at the Barge Festival

I was at The Forks for the Barge Festival celebrating the 200 years of the Selkirk Settlers. By the wharf, it was literally packed with people, elbow to elbow.

What a wonderful bunch of courteous people all in one place, people of all races.

I had my shopping cart with me to tote my lawn chair and cushion. I left early, and when I turned around to leave, there was no space to pull my cart through.

Everyone was sitting on lawn chairs and a few in wheel- chairs. I stood puzzled for a few seconds. A very nice, handsome guy, about 30 years old, lifted up my cart, lawn chair and all, over the heads of the other spectators in order for me to proceed on my way.

A big thanks to this wonderful guy, and all of the courteous people who attended the festival.
