WE would like to thank John at the furniture store on Main Street in Stonewall for his kindness.
I was desperately knocking at the window of the store, as we couldn’t find the location of our family and friends’ Christmas dinner. He opened his front door, although he had turned off most lights in the store as it was 5 p.m. on a Saturday.
He immediately pointed us into the right direction. “Oh, the Red Barn. Easy,” he exclaimed.
I had already given up hope of seeing friends and enjoying the dinner, as we were totally confused by the directions I had jotted down.
Thank you, John, for putting us straight and giving us the chance to be at the Christmas party. We had a wonderful time catching up with young and old friends.
