Bless the cat seekers

Winnipeg Free Press - Section G - - THE SOCIAL PAGE -

I HAVE never experienced such cat-loving Winnipeggers — total strangers to each other — as I have through Winnipeg Lost Cat Alert. They come together to help other each and every day when their precious fur-babies have gone missing or they have found a lost helpless soul. I follow their Facebook page and rejoice at the happy reunions, many taking place because of random acts of kindness from total strangers.

I know of no other site that dedicates itself to the welfare of Winnipeg’s cats and offers such excellent tips and advice.

Many people may ignore the fact a person’s cat has gone missing and do not pay attention as they would if a dog has gone missing. But a missing cat is as painful to the owner as a lost dog is to its owners.

Kudos to the strangers who try every single day to help their fellow cat lovers find their missing loved one. There are many, and I would like to thank each and every one of them.

I also thank the ladies who had the compassion to start this Facebook page.
