Not a thing went missing

WINNIPEG, what a city!

Recently, I was driving on Knowles Avenue and stopped to turn onto Henderson Highway. After proceeding, unbeknownst to me, my tailgate opened and several items fell onto the street. I drove on until stopping at Chief Peguis Trail for a red light.

A very kind lady got out of her car and told me what had happened. I went back to discover that all the items had been placed on both sides of the road. Not one thing — which included fishing gear, a leaf blower, homemade wine, a tool box, plus several other items — had been taken.

Thank you to the people who took the time to move them off the highway, to the workmen who called out and pointed to them and, of course, to the helpful lady.
