MOON ALERT Avoid shopping or making important decisions from 7:30 a.m. until 12:40 p.m. After that the moon moves from Libra into Scorpio. ARIES (March 21-April 19) Focus on ways to improve yourself as well as ways to become more financially secure, especially in terms of getting your fair share of something and staying on top of your debt scene. It’s a juggling act. Begin by cleaning up old issues from your past. TAURUS (April 20-May 20) With ex-partners and old friends back on the scene, look for ways to benefit from these encounters. For example, closure might be an option. Or it might be an opportunity to put things to rest and at the same time, move on. You’re in the mood to play. GEMINI (May 21-June 20) Stay focused on ways to become more efficient and productive because this is really what you want to achieve. You want to make every action count so that you feel your time is worthwhile. Ironically, Mercury retrograde is going to fight you on this. Oh well. CANCER (June 21-July 22) Vacations, sports events, the theatre, movies, parties, social diversions, romantic rendezvous and playful getaways are what you want now. Hmm, old flames back in the picture might facilitate this — or not. Either way, it’s your turn to do what you want to do. LEO (July 23-Aug. 22) Family events and old business connected with domestic details require your focus now. No matter how busy you are doing other things, you cannot ignore your private life at the moment. Learn to accommodate visiting relatives. VIRGO (Aug. 23-Sept. 22) Despite dealing with errors, confusion and transportation delays, ultimately you have something you want to say. You’re keen to enlighten others about your point of view. In fact, this is your chance to say something you’ve been wanting to say. LIBRA (Sept. 23-Oct. 22) Focus on earnings and dealing with past ways of earning money because this could generate new earnings for you in the future. In other words, look over your shoulder to what you did before to make something happen tomorrow. SCORPIO (Oct. 23-Nov. 21) You are empowered. The sun, Mercury and Saturn are in your sign and Mars is giving you support, especially from others. Take all the help that you can because you’re going back into the fray doing something you used to do, but this time you have your friends. SAGITTARIUS (Nov. 22-Dec. 21) So much is going on behind the scenes as you try to decide what to keep and what to let go of. Not always easy. Fortunately, many Sagittarians have Scorpio in their chart, and the energy of Scorpio knows how to purge what is no longer needed. CAPRICORN (Dec. 22-Jan. 19) Old friends are back in your life, which is something most of you welcome. You know that it’s good to have history with others. Furthermore, you like to fit in, and to do this one has to get the picture of where everybody is. Meanwhile, secret love affairs will thrill some of you. AQUARIUS (Jan. 20-Feb. 18) Make the most of the fact you look great to others right now, especially people in power. Even people from your past (parents, bosses and teachers you haven’t seen for a while) are amazed. Obviously, this is the time for you to strike. The game is on. PISCES (Feb. 19-March 20) You want to do something different because you’re hungry for change and stimulation. You also want to expand your experience of the world and learn more. Knowing this, don’t sit around getting dusty. Get out there and do something. Even the most trivial occasion can lead to adventure. TODAY’S BIRTHDAY Keyboardist Keith Emerson (1944) shares your birthday. You are influential to the people around you as well as to any situation in which you find yourself to be immersed. You seem to be a catalyst for change. Naturally, in your own life, change and transformation are a major theme. This year something you’ve been involved with for nine years will diminish or end to make room for something new.
