Coun­try stars Lady An­te­bel­lum ap­pear­ing Down­town

NASHVILLE coun­try-pop group Lady An­te­bel­lum is bring­ing its Take Me Down­town tour to Winnipeg’s down­town arena in March. The group head­lines a March 5 con­cert at the MTS Cen­tre with Kip Moore and Kasey Mus­graves. Tick­ets go on sale on Nov. 22 at 10 a.m. through Tick­et­mas­ter. Prices range from $38.75 to $104, in­clud­ing taxes and ser­vice fees. Lady An­te­bel­lum most re­cently took home the CMT Mu­sic Award for Group Video of the Year for their song Down­town, but have also won seven Grammy awards, in­clud­ing Best Coun­try Al­bum in 2012, for Own the Night. At last week’s CMA Awards, Mus­graves was named New Artist of the Year af­ter her lat­est al­bum, Same Trailer Dif­fer­ent Park, reached No. 1 on the Bill­board U.S. Coun­try chart. Moore hit No. 1 on the Bill­board U.S. coun­try chart in 2011 for his song Some­thin’ ’Bout a Truck and his 2012 song Beer Money earned a nom­i­na­tion for CMT Mu­sic Award for Break­through Video of the Year.
