Th­ese are the sorts of ques­tions that, de­spite be­ing im­pos­si­ble to an­swer, have fu­elled end­less de­bate among puck fans for gen­er­a­tions. The Hockey Hall of Fame Book of Play­ers won’t likely re­solve any of those ar­gu­ments, but it’ll cer­tainly make any­one who reads it much bet­ter pre­pared for the next “Who’s best?” face­off at the lo­cal wa­ter­ing hole. Toronto-based ed­i­tor Steve Cameron has as­sem­bled the de­fin­i­tive list of Hockey Hall of Fame in­ductees; the colour­ful, photo-rich vol­ume is cat­e­go­rized by po­si­tion and fea­tures player pro­files, stats and trivia, as well as dozens of pic­tures of some of the hall’s most trea­sured hockey ar­ti­facts.
