Thanks to the girl with big dreams

I was in Chapters at Polo Park looking for a journal. One that caught my eye had “Faith, Hope, Love” written on its cover. Behind that journal was an envelope from a girl celebrating her birthday. She had left a Starbucks gift card for the finder of the envelope as a birthday gift to herself. There was also a letter that said that if the finder of the envelope so wished, she could pay this random act of kindness forward — which I surely will do. In signing off, she thanked me for the work and contributions I make in the community. The girl with big dreams could not know how special receiving that letter was for me. It was a beautiful gesture. It brought tears to my eyes to think that I had forgotten I was once a girl with big dreams. Thanks to this girl... I think your dreams are coming true already. As for me, I must be off to go remember my dreams! I started remembering them the moment I received your letter and contemplated them over a hot latte at Starbucks.
