Great service, kindness on the train
ON a recent trip to Churchill, I lost a gold earring on the train. I looked all over, but alas, could not find it. When I mentioned it to the employees, all were very helpful, but I returned home with only one earring. A couple of days later, I received a call from an employee of Via Rail saying she thought my earring was found. Someone had turned it in at the station in Churchill. That weekend, Gary came to my house and delivered the earring. When I wanted to give him something to compensate for his act of kindness, he said, “No thank you; this is part of Via Rail customer service.” Thank you very much for the great service! The train ride, food, conversations and customer service were great. I highly recommend this form of transportation. Thank you also to the wonderful person who found my earring.
