Elvis, Or­bi­son, Hous­ton trib­ute acts per­form­ing here

THE spir­its of Elvis Pres­ley and Whit­ney Hous­ton will be re­vived in a pair of con­certs by trib­ute artists in Win­nipeg later this year. On Feb. 1, Adam Fitzpatrick, who was the run­ner-up in the 2013 World’s Best Ul­ti­mate Elvis Con­test in Mem­phis, Tenn.,and cham­pion at Elvis con­tests in San Diego and Pen­tic­ton, B.C., will per­form at the Pan­tages Play­house The­atre. Fitzpatrick and his band, the Cadil­lac Kings, will be joined by Joe Kelso, who will per­form the hits of Roy Or­bi­son. Tick­ets, which cost $42.95, are available through Tick­et­mas­ter. And on May 7 at the Bur­ton Cum­mings The­atre, the Whit­ney Hous­ton Show, star­ring South African singer Belinda Davids, will pay homage to the late singer, who died in 2012 prior to the Grammy Awards in Bev­erly Hills, Calif. Tick­ets, from $56.75 to $67.25, are available through Tick­et­mas­ter.
