Mystery man saves rush hour on bridge

Winnipeg Free Press - Section G - - THE SOCIAL PAGE -

A VERY kind man helped me and my truck, which had stalled halfway across the Arlington Bridge, by pushing it with his van. I even have a hitch, but he said it was OK if it bent his plate a bit. I felt so horrible causing such a lineup behind me, especially during Friday rush hour. After I made my way down to the bottom of the ramp in neutral, he made sure everything was good. I could not say thank you enough. After he left, I had a little cry in my truck because I was so grateful for his kindness. Not only did he help me off the bridge, but he helped many others as well by not getting stuck in the traffic, too. Unfortunately I did not get his name. He most certainly did not have to do this for me, and I am incredibly grateful for his act of kindness.
