So grateful to man at bus stop

Winnipeg Free Press - Section G - - THE SOCIAL PAGE -

I WAS driving across the Disraeli Freeway when a large plastic container fell off a truck travelling in front of me. I tried to avoid hitting it, but it became wedged under my car. My car made a terrible scraping noise, so I pulled over to the side of the bridge to see what I could do. It was cold and raining and the only thing I had was a snow scraper, which was not moving the container at all. I had no idea what to do as cars sped past me. A young man I had seen waiting at a bus stop on the bridge ran over to ask if he could be of any help. This wonderful young man slid on his back under my car and freed the plastic container. I did not get this young man’s name, but I want him to know how grateful I am that he took the time to help out a lady in distress.
