Since “Rod the Mod’s” last visit to Win­nipeg 2015, the for­mer singer for the Faces and the Jeff Beck Group was knighted by Prince Wil­liam at Buck­ing­ham Palace. He be­came Sir Rod­er­ick on Oct. 11, 2016, and the 72-year-old singer, who donned tar­tan trousers for the spe­cial oc­ca­sion, thanked the Queen for the hon­our and promised he’d “wear it well,” ac­cord­ing to the BBC.
