MO­TORISTS will have to find al­ter­nate routes and al­low for ex­tra travel time this week­end due to three sep­a­rate road clo­sures, the City of Winnipeg warned Fri­day.

Fort Rouge-area Ju­bilee Av­enue, from Os­borne Street to Nas­sau Street South, will close to east and west­bound traf­fic from 7 a.m. Satur­day un­til 8 p.m. Sun­day for paving.

The Ar­ling­ton Bridge, be­tween Duf­ferin and Lo­gan av­enues, will close at 6 a.m. Satur­day and re­open Mon­day at 6 a.m. Crews need ac­cess for bridge main­te­nance. The bridge pedes­trian walk­way will re­main open.

A stretch of Roblin Boule­vard, from Shaftes­bury Boule­vard to Chal­font Road, will be closed Sun­day from 5:30 a.m. un­til noon for the Winnipeg Fire Para­medic Ser­vice half-marathon. Ac­cess to the Assini­boine Park Zoo will be via west­bound lanes on Roblin Boule­vard.


A new round­about at the junc­tion of High­way 2 and High­way 3 will open next week.
