Winnipeg Sun - - COMMENT -

It is very disappointing that our city has resorted to the ‘blame game’ (Massive wake-up call, October 11). Since last year, transit ridership has decreased about 10% resulting in considerable lost revenue. The province is being blamed for the decrease in service quality because the provincial transit operating grant was frozen. Meanwhile, back at the ranch, $138-million was spent on phase one of Bus Rapid Transit. It is the easy way out to blame others. For certain, Winnipeg Transit needs to take full responsibility for providing quality public transit service in our city.
