An article in your paper wrongly stated that attendance at the Canadian Museum for Human Rights had declined. In fact, the number of visitors to the Museum in the first half of fiscal year 2017-18 (April through September) increased by 2% from the same period the year before (178,752 from 174,674). In the third summer since we opened our doors, 70% of visitors were from outside Winnipeg (and 65% from outside Manitoba). The Museum is proud to contribute to the growing success of Winnipeg and Manitoba as tourism destinations. We are pleased to welcome Canadians, international visitors and travel media from across the country and around the world.
