Winnipeg Sun - - COMMENT -

Prime Minister Justin Trudeau was off to some far off country getting his picture taken pretending to be more important than he really is.

He should have been home, honouring those who gave their lives for our country so that we can have the life that we have today.

I am sure that he could have postponed any meeting for one day to be here for Remembrance Day. Those who had to postpone their meeting with him would have clearly understood his absence. They may have even respected him more for attending this day in his country.

Stephen Harper would have never missed this day.

BOB BOYER Actually, in 2012, Harper missed Remembrance Day in Canada — he was in Hong Kong. He was at the same summit Trudeau was over the weekend.
