How to get there

Patagon Journal - - FLY FISHING -

Roads to Jurassic Lake Lodge are very rudimentary, so it's recommended to take advantage of the Lodges' private chartered flights that leave on Saturdays and (depending on demand) Wednesdays from Comodoro Rivadavia. The Lodge - which offers programs ranging from half week to a full week - is located where the Barrancoso River enters Lago Strobel, right near the most productive fishing areas, which includes Moro Creek, a tiny river that connects to a series of smaller lakes where there is amazing - and practically undiscovered - trout fishing. Rates vary depending on program type: visit www. jurassiclakelodge.com for more information.
